Wreaths, garland and planters for commercial entrances

Wreaths, garland and planters are what turn a lit building into a decorated one. A lit wreath over the entrance, garland wrapped on the columns and along the canopy edge, and a pair of dressed urns at the doors give a commercial property a finished look at the exact point where people walk in. We supply, install, service and store all of it as part of a seasonal program.

Our garland is commercial-grade artificial evergreen with built-in LED lighting, wired for outdoor use and dense enough to look full from the street. Wreaths run from 24 inches for a door to 6 ft and larger for a facade or gable. Bows and ribbon are weatherproof and wired, so they hold their shape through December wind rather than drooping by the second week.

Indoors, the same pieces move to staircases, reception desks, elevator banks and vestibules. We attach with clips, ties and stands that leave no marks on stone, glass, wood or metal and never block a door closer, exit sign or sprinkler. Any fault during the season is fixed at no charge, and everything comes down and goes into labelled storage in January.

What's included

Everything in a wreaths & garland program

01

Entrance and facade wreaths

Lit wreaths over doors, on gables, on columns and along balconies, sized to the opening and hung on mounts that suit brick, stucco, glass or metal. Larger wreaths on a facade are installed from a lift and secured against wind. Each wreath is wired to the nearest circuit on a timer or photocell.

02

Lit garland on railings and staircases

Garland wrapped along exterior railings, interior staircases and mezzanine edges with lights running the full length. We space the wrap so handrails stay usable and the attachment points do not scratch finishes. Gold poinsettia, pinecone and ribbon accents can be added to match a lobby scheme.

03

Columns and canopies

Garland spiralled on entrance columns and run along porte-cochère and canopy edges, with wreaths centred between columns. This is the most-photographed part of many hotels and plazas, so we check it from the approach road, the drop-off and the lobby looking out before calling it done.

04

Urns and planters

Existing urns and planters dressed with evergreen, birch poles, red dogwood, lit branches, magnolia and ribbon, built on a base that handles freeze-thaw. We can supply planters where you have none. Arrangements are secured so a gust across a plaza does not scatter them, and lit branches sit on the same timer as the entrance.

05

Bows, ribbon and accents

Weatherproof wired ribbon in your scheme on wreaths, garland swags, lamp posts and planters. Bows are tied by hand and wired in place rather than stapled, so they can be removed, stored flat and reused. Colour is matched to the roofline and tree lighting so the whole frontage reads as one design.

06

Service, takedown and storage

If a bow blows loose, a wreath section goes dark or a planter is knocked by a snowplow, we fix or replace it at no charge. In January we remove everything, store garland on reels and wreaths on racks in our warehouse, and refurbish bows and lighting before the next season.

How it works

Four steps, no surprises

  1. 1

    Entrance walk-through

We look at the entrance from the road and from the doors, measure openings, column heights and railing lengths, and note mounting surfaces and the nearest power. Photos of the entrance and columns are enough to start a quote for most properties.

  2. 2

    Scope and colour match

You receive a written scope with wreath sizes, garland footage, planter counts and ribbon colours, with reference photos. We coordinate the scheme with any roofline lighting or lobby tree so the building reads as one program.

  3. 3

    Installation

Installed after hours alongside the rest of your program, or as a standalone visit. Facade wreaths go up from a lift; railings and planters from the ground. Lights are tested and tied into your timers before the crew leaves.

  4. 4

    Season service and January takedown

We respond to any fault at no charge and check entrances after major storms. Takedown happens in the first three weeks of January and everything is labelled and stored in our warehouse for your next install.

FAQ

Wreaths & Garland questions

Can wreaths and garland be added to an existing lighting program?
Yes, and that is how most properties grow their display. Year one is often the roofline and a lobby tree; year two adds entrance wreaths, column garland and planters. Because we store your inventory and hold your install dates, additions are quoted as a line on the same program and installed on the same night. We match the ribbon and light colour to what is already there so nothing looks bolted on.
How do you attach garland and wreaths without damaging the building?
We choose the mount for the surface: masonry clips and existing anchor points for brick and stone, suction and edge mounts for glass, wrapped ties for railings and columns, and magnetic or clip mounts on metal fascia. We do not drill into finishes without written approval. Nothing attaches to sprinkler heads, exit signs, door closers or security cameras, and handrails stay usable with the garland in place.
Will the planters survive freeze and thaw?
Yes. Arrangements are built in a base that drains and does not crack when the soil freezes, and stems are anchored so they stay upright through a thaw. Lit branches use outdoor-rated LED on the same timer as the entrance. If a plow or a cart knocks a planter over, call us and we reset or rebuild it at no charge as part of your seasonal maintenance.
Do you provide real or artificial greenery?
Our garland and wreaths are commercial-grade artificial evergreen with built-in LED lighting. Artificial product stays green and lit from early November through January without drying out, shedding or becoming a fire concern indoors, and it goes into storage and comes back next year, which is what makes a multi-year program affordable. Planter arrangements can include fresh-cut accents where a client wants them.
What happens if a bow or a section of garland fails during the season?
You call or text us and we come out and fix it, replace it or re-tie it at no charge. We carry spare garland sections, bows and plugs on the truck, so most calls are a single visit. Entrances are also checked after major wind or ice storms without you having to ask. Maintenance is included in every program, whether you lease the decor or own it under an annual service agreement.
