Hotel Christmas decorating contractors for lobbies, atriums and porte-cochères
Hotel Christmas decorating contractors have one job: make the arrival look finished without ever getting in the way of a guest. We decorate hotel lobbies, atriums, porte-cochères, ballroom foyers and restaurant entrances across Southwestern Ontario, the GTA and Hamilton-Niagara, from a single decorated lobby tree to a full exterior and interior program with a lit approach road. Everything is designed around the guest arrival.

The problems a holiday program has to solve
Installs happen overnight, timed with your front office so the lift is out of the porte-cochère before the morning departures and the lobby tree is complete before the first check-in. Colour schemes follow your brand standard or the lobby finishes, so a corporate flag gets its approved look and an independent property gets something of its own. Reference photos come from our own installs, not a catalogue.
Everything is our own commercial-grade inventory, which lets us include maintenance all season at no charge. If a section of the canopy outline goes dark on a Saturday in December, we fix it. Takedown in the first three weeks of January, labelled storage in our warehouse and a multi-year agreement that locks price and dates are all standard. You get one number for the whole season.
Request a QuoteInstalls cannot disrupt guests
A hotel never closes, so a crew in the lobby at 2 p.m. is a problem. We work overnight, usually between late check-in and early departures, coordinate with the night manager and bell desk, protect floors and keep the porte-cochère open for taxis and airport shuttles while the lift is positioned off to one side.
Brand standards and GM approval
Flag properties have approved colour palettes and a GM who answers to an owner. We propose a scheme with photos from our own installs, match ribbon and lighting to the brand standard, and provide a written scope that can be forwarded for approval. Changes are easy before anything ships from our warehouse.
The display must be on every night
December is peak for weddings, corporate dinners and family stays, and a dark canopy or a half-lit lobby tree gets noticed. Maintenance is included on every program, with storm checks on the exterior and spares on the truck, so a fault is fixed quickly, usually the same day.
Storage and labour
Hotels have no spare room for a 16 ft tree and forty boxes of ornaments, and engineering staff have better things to do in November than fluff branches. We lease the decor, install it, remove it in January and store it in our warehouse, so housekeeping and engineering never touch it.
Where the decor goes in hotels & hospitality

Lobby and atrium
A decorated pre-lit tree sized to the ceiling, often flanked by accent trees, with garland on the front desk and lit planters at the doors. Atrium trees of 16 to 20+ ft go up from a lift overnight. Colours match the brand or the stone, wood and metal of the lobby.

Porte-cochère and canopy
The canopy edge outlined in warm-white C9 or mini lights, columns wrapped in lit garland and wreaths centred between them. Coach and shuttle clearance is checked before anything is hung, and the circuit runs on a photocell so the arrival is lit from dusk without a staff member touching a switch.

Ballroom foyer and event spaces
Trees, garland and lit planters outside ballrooms and meeting rooms, placed to frame the doors for wedding and corporate photos without narrowing the pre-function space. Decor is secured against being moved by banquet setup and can be adjusted for a specific event on request.

Restaurant and bar
Smaller trees, garland on the host stand and railings, wreaths on glass and bistro lighting on patios and terraces. Dining-room decor is kept clear of service paths and heat sources, and the patio lighting is on the same timer as the exterior program.

Exterior approach and grounds
Tree wrapping along the driveway, lit cone trees at the entrance, roofline outlines on the main facade and lighting around fountains and signage so the property reads from the road. Mature trees are wrapped from a bucket truck so the canopy is lit, not just the trunk.
Three ways to scope it
Every program is custom quoted. These are the shapes most properties land on.
