Commercial Holiday Decorating in Toronto

Toronto is where our largest lobby and atrium programs go in each season. From the Financial District towers along Bay Street to the hotels around Union Station and the condo lobbies of CityPlace and Humber Bay, property managers call us because they want one insured crew to design, supply, install and remove the whole display. We bring pre-lit trees from 7 to 20 feet, garland for staircases and railings, entrance wreaths and colour schemes that match marble, brass or black-steel finishes. The crew arrives after hours, works from the loading dock and leaves the lobby ready for the morning rush.

Outside, Toronto buildings ask for restraint and precision. Porte-cochère lighting at a downtown hotel, warm-white tree wraps along a King West forecourt, a lit roofline on a mid-rise in Yorkville or lit cone trees flanking a Yonge Street entrance all have to look right from the sidewalk and from the 30th floor. We use commercial-grade LED strings and C9 bulbs, bucket trucks where the curb allows it and aerial lifts inside parkades and plazas. Every product is from our own inventory, so if a strand fails in a February cold snap we replace it at no charge.

Most Toronto clients lease their décor by the season. Leasing bundles design, product, install, maintenance, January takedown and labelled storage into one price, which is simpler for a condo board or a facilities budget than owning crates of ornaments. Multi-year agreements lock the price and reserve the same install week each year. If you manage a hotel, an office tower, a mall, a retail strip or a BIA in Toronto, call 519-266-6796 and we will reply within one business day with a site visit or a quote from plans and photos.

Where we work in Toronto

Financial District and the PATH

Office towers on Bay, King and Wellington have double-height marble lobbies, security desks and busy concourse connections to the PATH. These spaces suit a single tall tree of 14 to 20 feet with a tight colour palette, plus matching planters and garland at the elevator banks. We stage everything through the loading dock overnight and keep fire egress clear.

Yorkville and Bloor Street

Luxury retail, boutique hotels and high-end condos along Bloor, Cumberland and Yorkville Avenue want polished exterior work: warm-white tree wraps, lit entrance canopies, wreaths on the façade and a reception tree inside. Sidewalk width is tight here, so we schedule lifts for late evening and coordinate with building security and the BIA.

North York Centre

The Yonge and Sheppard corridor is dense with office buildings, condo towers and mixed-use complexes that share plazas and porte-cochères. These properties suit lobby trees with lit accent trees on either side, garland on glass railings and outline lighting on the canopy so the entrance reads from Yonge Street in December dark.

Liberty Village and King West

Converted brick warehouses, tech offices and new condo podiums here have exposed structure and open courtyards. The look that works is warm-white string lights across courtyards, wrapped trees along the laneways and a tree in each lobby that matches the building's industrial finishes rather than fighting them. Restaurants and patios often join in.

What does commercial holiday decorating cost in Toronto?
Every Toronto quote is custom, but the typical ranges are: a lobby tree program commonly starts around $1,500 per season for a 9 foot decorated tree and climbs into five figures for a multi-tree atrium or mall program. Exterior lighting runs from a few thousand for a storefront or porte-cochère to tens of thousands for a full tower or campus. Linear footage, tree height, lift needs and one season versus multi-year drive the price.
When should a Toronto building book its holiday décor?
Site visits and design happen July through September. Installs run October to late November, with downtown lobbies usually going in mid-November. Toronto dock slots and overnight windows get booked early, so a signed agreement before October secures your preferred week. Takedown is in the first three weeks of January, and multi-year clients keep the same slot each season.
Which Toronto property types do you decorate?
Hotels, office towers, condo and apartment lobbies, shopping centres, retail plazas, restaurants, private clubs and BIA streetscapes across Toronto, from the Financial District to North York, Etobicoke and Scarborough. We handle interior lobby and atrium trees as well as exterior rooflines, canopies, tree wraps and cone trees, and we work with property managers who run several buildings.
