Holiday lighting for municipalities, BIAs and downtown districts
Commercial holiday decorating services for a municipality or BIA have to survive procurement, a council or board vote and a tree-lighting event with the whole town watching. We light downtown streets, town squares, parks and civic buildings across Southwestern Ontario, the GTA and Hamilton-Niagara: street-tree wrapping along the main street, a town-square tree, park pathway displays, community-hall outlines and animated light shows.

The problems a holiday program has to solve
Downtown work means traffic plans, lamp-post power, bucket trucks on a main street at night and crews who understand that the sidewalk stays open. We provide tender-ready specifications with linear footage, tree counts, product details and a maintenance scope, certificates of insurance and WSIB clearance, and a traffic management plan for the install nights. Public works staff are kept informed block by block.
Everything is our own commercial-grade inventory, so maintenance through the season is included at no charge, including after ice storms and plow damage. Takedown runs in the first three weeks of January or later if the town wants a winter festival lit, and inventory is labelled and stored in our warehouse. Multi-year agreements lock pricing for the budget cycle. The town-square tree is always scheduled first.
Request a QuoteProcurement and tender-ready specs
Councils and boards need a specification they can put to tender or approve under a purchasing bylaw. We provide footage, tree counts, product type, controls, maintenance scope, takedown and storage terms and insurance requirements in a format that can be dropped into an RFQ, and we quote the same scope honestly.
Traffic, sidewalks and lamp-post power
Main-street tree wrapping means a bucket truck in a live lane at night. We supply a traffic plan with cones, signage and spotters, keep the sidewalk open, work after the restaurants close and power the trees from lamp-post receptacles or circuits your public works staff identify with us in the summer survey.
The tree-lighting event
The town-square tree has to be lit, tested and on a switch or controller by the event date, with everything else in the square complete around it. We schedule the square first, test the circuit with your staff the day before and can run the switch-on from a controller so the moment works.
Ice, plows and a long season
Municipal displays are up from November to January or later, in the open, next to plow routes and salt. We stake and set back cone trees, tie off wraps so they do not slip, elevate connections and check exposed streets after major storms without a call, fixing anything at no charge.
Where the decor goes in municipalities & bias

Downtown street trees
Boulevard and sidewalk trees along the main street wrapped in warm white or a BIA colour, trunk and canopy, with red ornament balls or accents where the district wants them. Installed from a bucket truck at night under a traffic plan and powered from lamp-post receptacles on photocells.

Town square and civic tree
A large outdoor tree, either a lit natural evergreen or a giant cone tree, beside the memorial, clock or town hall, with a star topper and a lit base. Engineered for wind, staked or ballasted, on its own circuit and ready for the switch-on at the tree-lighting event.

Parks and pathways
Mature trees along park walkways wrapped so the path is lit end to end, gazebos and pavilions outlined, light figures and entrance arches placed for photos. Timers run dusk to late evening so the park is usable after dark without the lights burning all night.

Community halls and civic buildings
Roofline outlines on the town hall, arena, library or community centre, lit cone trees at the entrance, wreaths over the doors and, where the building suits it, a pixel light show on the facade. Installed from lifts after hours with the entrance kept open.

Light shows and feature displays
Animated pixel light shows on a pavilion or facade synced to music, giant cone trees in a plaza, walk-through tunnels and lit sculptures for a winter festival. Shows run on a schedule the town sets with a static look between shows so the space is never dark.

Every program is custom quoted. These are the shapes most properties land on.
