Insured commercial holiday decorators, from design to storage
Commercial Holiday Decorators is the commercial division of a Southwestern Ontario holiday-lighting company that has been decorating properties since 2016. We are based in London, Ontario and serve hotels, office buildings, condo and apartment lobbies, shopping plazas and malls, restaurants, property management portfolios, municipalities and BIAs across Southwestern Ontario, the Greater Toronto Area and Hamilton-Niagara. Our sister brand, We Install Christmas Lights, handles residential work. This site is for the people who manage buildings for a living.
From one truck in London to crews across the province
We started on rooflines and trees in London neighbourhoods, learning the trade the practical way: which strings survive freezing rain, how to wrap a mature tree so it reads as solid light from the street, how to run a crew in December without letting quality slip. Those years built the habits we still work by. Commercial-grade LED product only, clean installs, timers on everything and a phone that gets answered when a section goes dark.
The commercial division grew out of requests from the residential work. A homeowner who managed an office tower asked about the lobby. A restaurant owner asked about the patio and the roofline. A property manager asked whether we could do a whole plaza overnight so tenants were not disrupted. Each of those jobs needed more than lights: a site visit, a design, lifts, insurance paperwork, after-hours crews, maintenance through the season, a January takedown and somewhere to store it all.
That is how we work now. We design from a site visit or from plans and photos, supply everything from our own inventory so we can warranty it, install with insured and WSIB-compliant crews using our own bucket trucks and aerial lifts, maintain the display all season at no charge for any fault, take it down in January and store it labelled in our warehouse. Most clients lease the decor per season under a multi-year agreement. One price, one invoice, and a lobby or frontage that looks right every year.
Residential work continues under We Install Christmas Lights.

Decorating Ontario since
Response on every request
Our own inventory, fully warrantied
Takedown and storage included
Say what we will do, then do it
Every proposal lists the scope, the product, the install window and what is included in maintenance, takedown and storage. We reply within one business day, we show up in the window we agreed and we tell you honestly when something is not worth doing.
Own the product, own the problem
Everything we install is our own commercial-grade inventory. That is why we can promise no charge for any fault during the season, why replacements match, and why we do not install customer-supplied lights. If it fails, it is ours to fix.
Work around the building, not through it
Hotels, condos and plazas do not close for us. We install after hours or overnight, cone off only the area we are working in and keep lobbies, drives and parking open. The morning shift should arrive to a finished display and nothing else.
Build for next year, not just this one
Labelled storage, priority dates and multi-year agreements exist so the second season is easier than the first. We note what to improve at takedown, hold your product and your dates, and come back in summer with a plan already half written.
Six steps from the first call to next year’s booking
The same sequence on a single storefront or a forty-building portfolio.
- 1
Site visit & brief
We walk the property with you from July to September, measure rooflines and trees, check lobby ceiling heights, outlets and lift access, and listen to what the display needs to do for your guests, tenants or shoppers. Plans and photos work when a visit is not practical.
- 30 to 60 minutes on site with a decision maker if possible
- Linear footage, tree count and height, power and lift positions recorded
- Events and lit-by dates noted so the schedule is built around them
- 2
Design & proposal
We design a scheme matched to your brand or interior finishes, with ribbon and ornament samples you can see in the space. The proposal lists scope, product, install and takedown windows, and shows the seasonal lease and purchase options side by side.
- Colour scheme carried through trees, garland, wreaths and planters
- Lease and buy options priced on the same scope
- Insurance certificate and WSIB clearance available for vendor setup
- 3
Agreement & scheduling
A short agreement confirms the scope and the dates. A deposit reserves your install window and lets us pull product from inventory or order custom pieces. We confirm after-hours access, power and parking for lifts with your building staff before anyone arrives.
- Multi-year agreements lock pricing and schedule for the term
- Early bookings get first pick of October and November dates
- Night contacts, keys and blackout periods confirmed in writing
- 4
Installation
Exterior work goes in from October using our bucket trucks and aerial lifts. Interior trees, garland and wreaths go in through November, overnight for hotels and malls, after hours for offices and condos, so the display is lit before late November.
- Work area coned off and kept small, walkways and drives open
- Every circuit tested and every timer set before the crew leaves
- Walkthrough with your staff and a contact number for the season
- 5
Season-long maintenance
Any fault in the display is fixed at no charge through the season. The truck carries matching strings, bulbs and timers because the product is ours. Timer changes for events are a phone call, and larger programs get our own drive-by checks.
- No charge for any fault, including snowplow and weather damage
- Replacements match because everything is from our inventory
- Timers adjusted after the time change and for late events
- 6
Takedown, storage & rebooking
The same crews remove the display in the first three weeks of January, after hours where needed. Everything is tested, labelled by property and stored in our warehouse. Returning clients get priority dates, and multi-year clients already have next season booked.
- Specific takedown dates held for events or lobby use
- Plain warm-white lighting can stay up as winter lighting on request
- Notes from takedown feed next summer's proposal

Reply within one business day
Every request, from a first enquiry to a dark section in December, gets a response within 24 hours on a business day. Call 519-266-6796 or send a request and you will hear from a person who knows your property.
No charge for any fault, all season
If anything we installed fails between install and takedown, we fix or replace it at no charge. That covers product, timers, weather and snow-clearing damage. It is possible because everything on your property is our own inventory.
Insured, WSIB-compliant, on lifts
Our own crews do the work, insured and WSIB-compliant, from our own bucket trucks and aerial lifts. Certificates are provided for your vendor file before install, and nobody on your staff ever needs to climb a ladder.
Down in January, stored by us
Takedown is scheduled in the first three weeks of January and everything is labelled and stored in our warehouse. Nothing is left in your mechanical room, and your product and dates are held for the next season.
